E14 is the size of the bulb base. "E" stands for Edison screw and 14 is the diameter in millimeters.
E27 is the standard household bulb base (27 mm) and E14 is the smaller one (14 mm). They are not interchangeable, so check your base before ordering. E14 is used mainly in chandeliers, or any E14 decorative light.
