Elsewedy Engineering Industries and its affiliates, including the Arab Company for Industry and International Trade and Elsewedy Lighting ("the Company"), owner of the Elsewedy Eshop online store (eshop.elsewedy.net), is committed to safeguarding customers' privacy and personal data. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the store, how it is used and protected, and the rights you have over it. By using the store or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this policy.

1.1 "Personal Data": any information that identifies you or allows us to contact you, including your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, account details, order details and purchase history, and anything you voluntarily provide when contacting customer service or requesting a quotation or installation service.

1.3 We do not keep your bank card details on our servers. Online payment data is processed by our payment service provider under its own security standards.

4. Sharing of Data

4.1 We do not sell your personal data, and we do not make it available to, or rent it to, third parties for promotional purposes unless you authorize us to do so.

4.2 We make your data available only to parties needed to provide the service and only to the extent necessary: the shipping partner for deliveries and returns, the online payment provider, the platform operating the store, analytics, marketing and email service providers, and affiliates of the Elsewedy group where appropriate.

4.3 We may disclose your data when a competent judicial or regulatory authority requires it in accordance with the law, or when necessary to investigate unlawful activity or suspected fraud, or to protect the brand.

4.4 We require those we deal with to keep data confidential and not to use it for any purpose other than the one specified.

5. Cookies

5.1 The store uses cookies to save cart contents and login status, analyse usage and improve performance, and they may be used for promotional purposes and to measure advertising effectiveness.

5.2 You can control or delete these files through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some store functions.

6. Promotional Communications

We send promotional communications only after your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in the messages or by contacting us; this does not prevent essential messages about your orders from reaching you.

Under Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations, you have the right to:

●         Request erasure of your data or restriction of its processing, unless a legal obligation requires us to retain it.

●         Request the transfer of your data to another party, or its delivery to you directly, within the limits set by law.

●         Withdraw your consent to processing, and object to the use of your data for promotional purposes.

9. Transfer of Data Outside Egypt

Some of your data may be processed or stored on servers located outside the Arab Republic of Egypt with the store's technology service providers, and we take the steps necessary to ensure it is protected at an appropriate level in accordance with the law.

10. Minors

The store is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data relating to them. If you know that a minor has provided us with their data, please notify us so that we can erase it.

11. External Links

The store may contain links to other websites that are not governed by this policy, and the Company is not responsible for the privacy policies or content of those sites.
